About the Company and Junior Payroll Accountant Opportunity:
- Our 3x client is a unique and local non profit committed to assisting individuals with obtaining affordable housing. Currently, they are looking to add a temporary Junior Payroll Accountant to their accounting team to work from their Annapolis office!

- This position is in office 100% in Annapolis, MD. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Potential for work from home after training
- Reports to the CFO
Duties for the Junior Payroll Accountant Include:
- Process payroll on a biweekly basis
- Complete balance sheets
- Reconcile rental property accounts
- Create journal entries
- Review and run reports as needed
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Assist with company compliance audit
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain vendor 1099s
- Other special projects as needed
Qualifications for the Junior Payroll Accountant:
- 3+ years' accounting AND payroll processing experience required
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related required
- Proficiency with Excel and Word required
- Experience using ADP a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
